Some of Harry’s highlights

Harry played a range of sports growing up, rugby union was his main sport and hobby for many years, playing for a range of representative teams in North Harbour, as well as playing in the UK for a year. After an injury in 2016 Harry leaned away from rugby and towards the gym for exercise before eventually discovering CrossFit in late 2017.

Harry currently studies a bachelor of sports degree at Unitec in Mount Albert, majoring in coaching, and has been offered a place in a postgraduate sport exercise and prescription course at AUT. Outside of studies Harry also assists in the strength and conditioning and backline coaching for the 2018 Rosmini College 1stXV, and works part time as a lifeguard.

I love the feeling of seeing someone succeed in an aspect that they have developed through continuous practice. CrossFit has helped me to enjoy sport again since my rugby injury and I want to strive to help others enjoy their exercise while achieving a multitude of goals along the way.
  • Bachelor of Sports (coaching major). Currently completing.
  • Postgraduate diploma in sport and exercise prescription. Future studies.
  • CrossFit level 1 Trainer (CF-L1).
  • CrossFit Auckland Intern program.
  • 3x North Harbour secondary school’s 1stXV team rugby champion.
  • Selection for a tutoring/coaching program in the UK 2015.
  • Tough Mudder full course 2017.
Chipping away at his degree and postgraduate study, whenever I get a break from study I enjoy being active, outdoors and immersing myself in the wide world of sports.
