Fight Gone Bad

On Saturday November 22nd between 9am-12pm, CrossFit NZ will be hosting New Zealand’s first ‘Fight Gone Bad Challenge’.

Fight Gone Bad is a classic CrossFit WOD, originally designed for UFC World Champion BJ Penn, to closely match the time domain of a UFC fight – three 5 minute rounds – while possibly exceeding the required work capacity.

The ‘Fight Gone Bad Challenge’ is held every year in September by hundreds of CrossFit affiliates worldwide, with the goal of raising much needed funds for Cancer charities.

There are only a few places left, but if you’d like to participate please get in touch with Darren and Taz at info@crossfitnz.co.nz and they will send you the details ASAP. Entry is $10 and includes a free event t-shirt. We encourage you to raise a bit of cash from friends and family – all proceeds are going towards cancer research – which is apt, given that it’s Movember (Prostate Cancer Month), so scraggly facial hair is also welcome…

Be sure to bring your sponsors, friends and family along to cheer you on the day. They’ll have a few snacks and refreshments on hand. There will be prizes for best performers, most money raised, scariest workout face, dirtiest mo, etc…

If you own a business and are interested in helping out with sponsorship through cash or prizes, We would love to hear from you!
