Post loads and time to comments.
In the Open categories Bernie is currently sitting at 20th equal in the Australia Region and Horse is ranked 33rd – good work in week one you two!
TEAM CFAK has started out well overall, and as an affiliate team we are ranked 10th overall in a pool of 130 Australasian teams. We’re pretty rapt at how hard everyone is working and super thrilled at the support our competitors are getting from the CFAK community!
It’s early days yet and the stats above will have all changed soon after Open Workout 12.2 is announced at 2pm today. Buckle up everyone – the next four weeks is going to be an awesome ride!

Happy Birthday All!
Jacques – 12.2 + Birthday Burpees! Whoop! Whoop!
Hope you all have a wonderful day
Happy Birthday to you!
Way to go Team CFAK. Bet everyone’s on the edge of their seats all day today waiting for the workout to be announced.
I’m predicting cleans and dips for WO 12.2…
Hope so
I think you’re right AP. I’m also predicting a couplet with one of the exercises involving an oly bar. Then again it could be something like 7 minutes of wall balls!
Would love a WOD with moderate to heavy bar work and some gymnastics
Happy bday Jaques
7mins of wall ball eww! I’m thinking thrusters will come up for sure in one of the wods
happy birthday Jaques!
I agree on the couplet.
Didn’t all the WoDs last year have bars? What if all the WoDs this year had burpees of some nature… then 12.2 could look like:
Ascending Ladder
– Burpee-Box Jumps
– Cleans
Happy Birthday to ‘All Three of you today!
WOD 12.2 is any ones guess! I mean who would of guessed 7min of ‘Yaahh Burpees!’ I would not know where to start my guessing today but maybe some ring work with an oly lift???
Ah well, ‘it is what it is!’.
Happy birthday guys. I’m picking some more bodyweight stuff, pull ups and power cleans.
CrossFit.com has posted pull-ups two days in a row, and HSPUs and high volume push-presses in their last 3-day cycle, so after the CF.com scheduled rest day they will be posting 12.2…. methinks it unlikely they would set-up a pre-exhausted state for their online followers…. Hmmm
We’ll know in three minutes…

Movement Standards
This workout begins from the standing position with the barbell loaded to the starting weight. In the Snatch, the barbell goes directly from the ground to overhead in one motion without stopping at the shoulders. This can be a muscle snatch, a power snatch, a squat snatch or a split snatch. A clean and jerk is not permitted.
Additional Notes
Please be sure to watch the entire workout instruction video above for full details. Each rep will be counted once the athlete clearly shows control of the barbell overhead. The athlete must be responsible for loading their own barbell to the appropriate loads during the workout. The same barbell must be used for the entire workout and they may not receive assistance when changing the loads. Using additional pre-loaded barbells is not permitted.
Equipment
To complete this workout you will need:
One barbell
Collars
Plates to load to the appropriate weights for your gender and age group
Suddenly not so scary

Its not noted anywhere, but im assuming there is no requirement for snatch width grip?
Congratulations to our competing members for bringing it to the game tonight! Thank you again to everyone who came to support and judge our athletes.
Man for that 90min session the NRG is off the charts isn’t it?!
