It’ll be a fun day for all, the weather gods are promising fine weather (fingers crossed!), and we’re looking forward to having not only our CFAK family present, but many visiting CrossFitters too.
In all this excitement let’s not forget the reason for the event: We are Uniting as Athletes for a Cause. Our FGB6 event is to help raise much needed funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of New Zealand. The PCF work tirelessly to help the many New Zealand men who are recovering from, or living with prostate cancer. They need our help.
We’ve got one week to reach out to others around us, rattle some pockets for loose change, and show a lil kiwi spirit. Tell your friends and family what you’re prepared to do this Sunday for a couple of bucks. Once you tell them what the Fight Gone Bad workout is, that will be enough to get some coin for the cause!
