We don’t often program De-load days, but today’s as good a day as any for one!
Some weeks the programming at our gym may seem particularly tougher than others. Is it the programming, or is it that your training load is piling up? We can’t program the perfect cycle for everyone all the time. We try our best, but it simply can’t be done. You are all too unique; there are too many variables. But what we can all do is be smart, listen to our bodies – and where necessary our coaches! – to ensure we all stay on track to elite fitness.
It’s ok to scale back WODs to an easy level sometimes. It’s ok to have a day off if your body or mind needs it. And a day like today is the perfect opportunity for you to focus that dedication and discipline of yours on a work-on, instead of detonating at 100mph against the WOD clock!
