There was a tornado rip through Albany around 3pm. Thanks everyone for your calls and txts. WE ARE OK. The tornado brought a huge storm with it for around 20min which hit us, but we are safe and sound. The Albany Mall and surrounding buildings have been hit badly, damaging buildings, roads and cars. Some roads are closed and traffic is congested with police and ambulance trying to get to the scene worst hit. We are still open if you can get here safely – traffic is terrible.

    Glad to hear CFAK survived the tornado. I was on the motorway in Albany when it struck – thankfully away from all the action. Hope everyone’s safe and well.

      The 1st question the CFAK Kids asked (those that made it here in the storm) was what would happen if our building was destroyed… and did we have insurance!! Gotta love em

      …the current state of the blinking weather and natural disasters… adds more meaning to Alex’s “would you be able to save yourself and your family” be CrossFit stories doesn’t it.
